My Top Ten Favorite Movies for Halloween

No Halloween is legit without a scary movie, or two, or five. There is so many too choose from and so much candy to eat while watching it can be pretty overwhelming. Alas I am to the rescue with a tiny list to make your decision tomorrow night a little easier. Most old but a couple new movies to keep you all night after the ghouls and goblins have retired until next year. On the bright side you'll get that extra hour of sleep Sunday. Holla!

I remember my grandma taking me to see this in theaters. Of course my eyes remained covered for half the movie. But now this is a Halloween classic. It is a must on Halloween or any other time you just want to relish in the amazement that is Bette Midler.

Possessed doll doesn't get any more well played than Chucky. Wouldn't exactly call him a friend til the end or see the other thousand sequels but the original is the bomb.

Videotapes and phone calls have never been so creepy. Or wells for that matter. Or little girls with long dark hair. Let's just say it's all creepy cause it is.

Playing with life after death in any scenario can be tricky and well in this movie it's just bad. Evil cats are one thing evil humans are another. As they say in the movie, "sometimes dead is better. "

The title is Halloween itself that should pretty much seal the deal...

One, two, Freddy's coming for you. / Three, four, better lock your door. / Five, six, grab your crucifix. / Seven, eight, gonna stay up late. / Nine, ten, never sleep again.

Summer camp has never been so scary. Well except for the snakes and spiders but you catch my drift.

I'm not sure why I love this movie so much. Maybe because you would have to be crazy to spend the night in a haunted house for any type of reward. The things people do for money...

Five friends in the middle of the woods is freaky enough. Add a Book of the Dead and well lets just say things can only go down from there.

One chilling tale may do you in but four? Yeah just prepare yourself before watching.

Hope you enjoy and have a freakishly fun and frightening Halloween!
