Tuesday Treasures!

Things I'm loving right now...

I LOVE Glamour magazine! Not only do they have amazing women on the cover every month (a la Olivia Wilde) but they have the right mix of fashion, beauty, humor, and important information to keep you in the know while looking oh so fabulous. The subscription price is not too bad and it includes print and digital editions so you can read wherever you go!

What's not to like about Netflix? It would only be better if it was free but for $7.99 a month it is well worth it. Netflix not only has a wide range of  movies but also TV shows as well, which make binge watching super easy, if that's your thing, and it is mine just saying. Netflix is also available on any device you could think of unlcuding Blu-ray players, XBOX, tablets,  and phone so there is always  a will and a way to watch your favorite movie or show ANYWHERE!

I have done a similar post about Recyclebank before but hey nothing wrong with a little reminder. Recyclebank is the perfect way to learn about ways to better our surroundings and environment while being rewarded for it at the same time. It is easy to sign-up, informative and fun to play the games and take the pledges, and even more excited to pick out the many rewards they have to offer, including magazines, coupons, and other free goodies!

For some reason I have been wanting hashbrowns a lot! So it makes more sense to learn how to make them myself than buy them all the time. This recipe doesn't have to many ingredients and the instructions are easy to understand. Click here to start making some delicious taters!

Until next time...

It's My Birthday! Bad --- Contest I'm in First Place!

I have literally always wanted a surprise birthday party. I don't know why. I mean do you really have to have a reason anyway? The gifts,  the cake, and the food are all amazing but what makes it the "Disney kind of special" is having all of your friends there to make you feel special on your born day is! My bae (as they call them now) did a lot of planning to make my dreams come true! He did have help from mom and sister but the thought alone makes me bubble over with joy! I was a bad photog and forgot to take pictures of the decorations, but I did take a few to remember this momentous occasion!

My cake is sexy adorned with Disney Princess of course

Tuesday Treasures!

Things I'm loving right now...

goodreads.com is a great website for all book lovers. It is easy to navigate and easy to use. You just create a profile, enter some books you've already read, and it gives you recommendations according to your liking. You can create different shelves, such as want to read shelf, that allows you to mark books you want to remember to read later. My favorite part however is the fact that you can save and update your progress on whatever book you are currently reading, which is great for impatient people like myself. I'm working on it...

I'm really late but better late than never. I have fallen in love with the Yummly app. There are so many recipes to choose from and you can save your favorites in different categories to make them easier to find. AND each recipe shows you how many ingredients you'll need, the calories, and the directions plus prep/cooking time. Yummly is also a website for those who prefer to use the world wide web in their recipe adventures.

I came across Flatout Bread when looking for pita bread to make pizzas and was pleasantly surprised. It is kind of like a wrap and can be used in so many ways. I did in fact use it to make pizza but have since used it for wraps and did I mention they taste good even by themselves? There are even different recipes on the website so you can get the most of out each package.

My mom and I came across Rex-Goliath Wine at the Southern Woman's Show event and have since indulged in several times. We prefer Moscato but they have MANY others to choose from. The wine taste delicious and they are reasonably priced. The website even has recipes to enhance your drinking experience and can tell you where to buy.

Until next time...
